This is to inform that by choosing to redeem any of the Gift Voucher options on this page, the user (“End Customer”, “you”, “your”) is being serviced by a Merchant Partner which is not owned by Network18 Media & Investments Limited (“NW18”).
This Privacy Policy explains how Vouchagram India Private Limited (“Merchant Partner”, “VIPL”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you (“End Customer”, “you”, “your”) use the gift voucher website/Platform facilitated by NW18 (the “Platform”).
By choosing to access or redeem any gift voucher (“GV”) on the Platform, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Platform.
1. Definitions
Applicable Law: all Indian statutes, enactments, acts of parliament, ordinances, rules, bye-laws, regulations, notifications, guidelines, directions, or other requirements having the force of law, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (when notified).
End Customer Data: any personal information or sensitive personal data that identifies or can reasonably identify an End Customer and is collected by VIPL through the Platform for the purpose of voucher purchase and redemption.
2. Data We Collect
- Identifiers & Contact: name, mobile number, email, address (if provided), and account details.
- Transaction Data: items added to cart, GV purchases, payment status, invoice details.
- Payment Data: payment method, masked card details/UPI handle, transaction IDs (processed via payment gateway; VIPL does not store full card numbers, CVV or UPI PIN).
- Technical Data: device details, IP address, browser type, operating system, app version, log files.
- Usage Data: pages viewed, clicks, time spent, referral source, error logs.
- Communications: support tickets, feedback, and marketing preferences.
- Cookies & Similar Tech: used for session management, analytics, and personalization.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To register and authenticate your account.
- To process payments and deliver Vouchers.
- To generate invoices and order updates.
- To provide customer support and resolve disputes.
- To prevent fraud, enforce Terms and Conditions, and ensure platform security.
- To perform analytics for improving performance and user experience.
- To send service communications (transactional emails/SMS/WhatsApp).
- To share End Customer Data with NW18 for marketing and promotional purposes where explicit consent is provided.
- To comply with legal obligations (tax/audit/regulatory).
4. Consent to Share Data with NW18
End Customers acknowledge and agree that:
- VIPL may share their personal data/End Customer Data with NW18 for:
- Cross-promotion of NW18’s products and services
- Customer engagement
- Such sharing will be in compliance with applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (if notified).
5. Legal Bases for Processing
VIPL shall process End Customer Data only where there is a lawful basis under Applicable Law, including but not limited to:
- Performance of a Contract: processing is necessary to provide the requested vouchers, complete transactions, and deliver related services.
- Legitimate Interests: processing is required for purposes such as fraud prevention, platform security, or improving user experience, provided such interests do not override End Customer rights.
- Consent: where End Customers have provided explicit and informed consent (e.g., for marketing communications, use of cookies, or sharing data with NW18).
- Legal Compliance: processing is necessary to comply with tax, regulatory, audit, or other legal obligations.
6. Sharing & Disclosures
VIPL may disclose End Customer Data with:
- Service/Fulfilment Partners: to list brands, deliver GVs, and provide customer support.
- Payment Gateways/Processors & Banks: to process payments and handle chargebacks/refunds.
- Brands (Issuers): limited details necessary for GV issuance/validation and fraud checks.
- Analytics/IT Vendors: to host, secure, and analyze Platform performance.
- Group Companies/Affiliates: for operational support consistent with this Policy.
- NW18: only with your explicit consent as stated in Section 4 above.
- Law Enforcement/Regulators: when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and systems.
Note: VIPL does not sell End Customer Data.
7. Data Retention
VIPL shall retain End Customer Data for as long as necessary for the purposes stated in this Policy and as required under Applicable Laws, including:
- Transactional and invoice data: as per tax and accounting laws.
- Account data: retained while your account is active and for a reasonable audit period thereafter.
- Support records: retained until closure and for a reasonable audit period.
When no longer needed, data is deleted or de-identified subject to legal retention requirements.
8. Security Measures
VIPL shall adopt and maintain appropriate administrative, technical, organizational, and physical safeguards, including but not limited to encryption (in transit and at rest, where applicable), firewalls, monitoring, and strict access controls, to protect End Customer Data against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction.
While VIPL implements industry-standard security measures to mitigate risks, End Customers acknowledge that no method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and are advised to protect their login credentials and devices appropriately.
9. End Customer Rights
Subject to Applicable Laws, End Customer may exercise the following rights by contacting VIPL:
- Access/Update: review or edit profile information in your account or via support.
- Marketing Opt-Out: use unsubscribe links or contact support. Transactional messages will still be sent.
- Deletion/Objection: subject to applicable law and legitimate needs (e.g., tax retention), you may request deletion or object to certain processing by contacting http://www.gvhelpdesk.com.

10. Cookies & Tracking
VIPL use cookies/SDKs/pixels for session continuity, preferences, analytics, and (if enabled) personalized marketing. End Customer can control cookies via browser/app settings; some features may not function without essential cookies.
11. Children’s Data
The Platform is not intended for use by individuals below 18 years of age. VIPL does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. International Transfers
If End Customer Data is transferred outside India (e.g., to cloud providers), VIPL shall ensure such transfers comply with Applicable Law and are subject to appropriate safeguards/contractual protections.
13. Third-Party Sites
Where you access a Brand’s website or third-party platform for redemption or further services, their privacy policy shall apply. VIPL and NW18 are not responsible for such third-party practices.
14. Changes to This Policy
VIPL may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any material changes will be notified by updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this page.
